Here we have a rather spectacularly well made 5" gauge LT&SR 'Tilbury' 4-4-2 tank part built loco. The model engineering here is absolutely superb, certainly of prize winning standard, so it's a model that warrants a capable model engineer to push it over the final hurdles to completion. The steam reverser is a complete work of art, as is the separately boxed steam pump for the side, and when you get a model where the builder has been making his own scale duplex vacuum gauges complete with home made bourdon tubes, you know that you've got something special.
The boiler is all there, but currently awaiting final silver soldering up, the builder has designed in an interesting looking extra curved bulge on outer wrapper for unknown reasons, certainly an unconventional twist, but there's no reason why that should cause any issues, and at this stage could relatively easily be engineered out.
